My name is Cameron Hom, and welcome to my site. I am addicted to learning about new things and always on the lookout for opportunities to grow. When I want to know something, I go out and about to learn. Not limited to: SHRM, TechCrunch, SEO/digital marketing websites, and Investopedia. I have a strong work ethic that’s heightened by my passionate energy. You can be sure that when I set out to get something done, it is going to get accomplished. Think of a car with an engine that keeps running, tires keep spinning, and pedal to the metal going full speed ahead!
I earned my Bachelors's Degree in Finance at the University at Buffalo in 2015 with a 3.60 GPA. While I was there, I was a research analyst at the UB Investment club. UBIC is a virtual hedge fund that manages $5 million. Soon after, I became a fund manager at the club due to my hard work and dedication to the club.
In my first professional role while in college, I was a Financial Services Professional with MassMutual in Amherst, NY where I became certified as a Life/Accident/Health Insurance agent in New York State (LA-1337401). This is where my interest in sales began. While still studying at school, I was also a Table Games Dealer at Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino (oh, the people I have encountered...).
My first gig post-graduation was at Yext as an Inside Sales Associate, where I fulfilled a full-cycle sales process with SMB organizations to enhance their online local search presence and drive traffic through their front doors with correct, consistent, and enhanced information across 100+ directories.
As a Sales Development Rep at Namely – the all-in-one HR, Payroll, & Benefits platform, I have furthered my "top of the funnel" experience while helping manage/train new hires. I generated leads, qualified prospects, and created targeted campaigns in order to improve the HR processes of many mid-sized HR organizations. I also sourced the largest deal in company history, SDR of the Month – December 2016, and sourced $1.07M in new closed won business. As Account Executive at Impraise, a real-time performance feedback platform to engage and develop employees, I was the first AE hired to build out new sales vertical developed the sales and onboarding playbooks, and . Also spent time at Comeet, a collaborative ATS that automates your hiring workflow.
Currently I’m an Account Executive at Hibob. This is an exciting time in the HR Tech space and I am quadrupling down on my existing skillset and knowledge in the industry. I am also the Sales Advisor for Insycle, a customer data management platform to effortlessly clean your data in Salesforce, Hubspot, Intercom, Zendesk, Marketo, and Yext.
My hobbies include technology, volleyball, the stock market, and SALES! I enjoy meeting and connecting with new people. Let's chat!
